Switching From SpotOn

SpotOn bundles POS with marketing tools. When you leave, you need a plan for the bundled pieces you were actually using — not just the register.

Switching

How the switch runs

  1. Contract

Review term, notice period and termination language first.

  2. Bundled tools

List which marketing and review features you actually use.

  3. Customer data

Export your customer and loyalty lists before you cancel.

  4. Hardware

    Plan on new hardware.

  5. Menu or catalog

    Export as reference, rebuild deliberately.

  6. Timing

Align cutover with your contract dates.

01

Inventory what the bundle was doing

Review requests, email campaigns, loyalty, website. Some of it you use, most of it usually you don't. For anything you rely on, we confirm the replacement before cutover — not after.

  • Loyalty program and member balances
  • Email or text campaigns and lists
  • Review request automation
  • Online ordering or booking pages

02

Get your data out first

Customer lists, loyalty balances and reporting. Export before you give notice. Getting data out of a cancelled account is much harder than getting it out of an active one.

03

Contract timing can save real money

Check the term end and notice window. Sometimes a short wait avoids a termination fee entirely.

04

What we handle

Export review, catalog or menu rebuild, replacement tool setup, hardware, training and go-live support.

What you get

Equipment at no cost, free setup, no long-term contract.

Every business we set up gets the same thing: the hardware they need at no cost to them, the configuration and training done for you, and a real person to call afterward — without being locked into a multi-year agreement.

01

No long-term contract required

Flexible month-to-month terms are available on both platforms. You stay because the system works, not because a three-year agreement says you have to.

02

Equipment at no cost to you

Terminals, stations, printers and readers provided at no cost while you process with us. The equipment stays ours — if you ever move to another provider, you simply send it back.

03

Free setup, on site or remote

Catalog and menu build, modifiers, hardware placement, permissions, reports and hands-on staff training. Included, not billed hourly.

04

Ongoing support with no hidden fees

A direct line to the person who configured your system. Menu changes, new hardware, new staff, a report that stopped making sense — no support tier to buy.

How the equipment works

To be straight with you: the equipment isn't a giveaway. We provide the hardware your business needs at no cost to you while you process with us, and it stays ours — if you ever decide to move to a different provider, you simply return it. We look at every business we work with as a partner, and we're invested in your success, not in locking you into a box you paid for. And yes, if you want your rates compared side by side with what you pay today, we'll do that too.

FAQ

Questions we get

Can I keep my loyalty members?

Usually you can export the list. Point balances often need to be honored manually or re-granted — we plan that.

What about my website from them?

If they host it, you need a plan before cancelling. Domain control is the critical piece to secure.

Is there a termination fee?

Depends on your agreement. Read it, or send it to us and we'll read it with you.
