Online Ordering

Online ordering is either part of your system or a second job. The difference is whether those orders show up in the same queue as everything else.

Solutions

The short version

01

Ordering channels

Your own site, QR codes at the table, pickup, curbside and delivery.

02

Menu sync

One menu to update, not three that drift apart.

03

Order routing

Digital tickets print or display alongside walk-in orders.

04

Prep timing

Throttle order volume and set prep times so the kitchen isn't buried.

05

Customer data

Online orders build a customer list you actually own.

06

Commission

Direct ordering avoids the marketplace cut on repeat customers.

The tablet farm problem

Three delivery tablets on a shelf means someone re-keys every order into the POS during the rush. That's where wrong tickets and missed orders come from. Integration removes the re-keying step.

Own the repeat customer

Marketplaces are fine for discovery. Once a customer knows you, a direct ordering link keeps the margin and the customer relationship in your hands.

  • Direct link on your site and receipts
  • QR codes on tables and packaging
  • Email or text the past customer
  • Loyalty applied to online orders

Set the rules before you turn it on

Hours, lead times, item availability, throttling at peak, upsells at checkout. These settings are the difference between online ordering helping and hurting.

Menu accuracy is the whole game

If modifiers online don't match the kitchen's build, you're refunding orders. We mirror the POS menu so online orders are executable exactly as they print.

Clover or Square

Clover or Square?

We sell both, so the recommendation comes from your workflow instead of our inventory.

FAQ

Questions we get

Do I need a website first?

No. Both platforms can generate an ordering page. If you already have a site, we link or embed it.

Can I keep using delivery apps?

Yes, and often you should for discovery. We'll set up integrations so those orders reach the POS too.

How do customers pay?

Card at checkout, and in most setups digital wallets as well. Funds settle like any other card sale.

Can I pause online orders when we're slammed?

Yes. You can pause, throttle or extend prep times from the POS.
